Our vision is based on relationships, which define the bridge behind our name. As we gain a better understanding of the daily needs and challenges affecting our students and families, through our Grassroots Research, our goal is to identify and partner with local agencies and nonprofits already serving the community, to provide comprehensive support that will empower our students and families to achieve success.

Past Projects

Hopkins Apartments Playground Build

Urban Bridge Builders, along with Care Company, Faithworks, Make Kids Smile, Community Visions, the Hopkins Resident Council, residents of Hopkins Apartments and Capitol Hill, and other nonprofit organizations and churches, worked alongside the Mayor’s office and the D.C. Housing Authority to build a new playground for kids in the Hopkins apartment community in Southeast D.C. Click here to see pictures from the Build Day.
